Returns & exchanges

If for whatever reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item(s) following the simple procedure below

  • Please email us at contact@basicallyblack.com detailing the items you are returning or exchanging with their product codes which can be found on your dispatch paperwork sent with your package and if you wish, stating why.
  • Returns address:- Returns, Basically Black Limited, PO Box 8860, Market Harborough, Leics LE16 0DW
  • Returned goods must be in perfect condition. Items must return unworn, unwashed and have all labels and packaging intact.
  • Delivery charges on your first exchange (only) will be complimentary.
  • Take your parcel to your nearest post office. We recommend you get a certificate of posting from the Post Office (no charge) when returning items to us as the goods are your responsibility until they reach us. We cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
  • Returns are made at your own expense except where an item is faulty.
  • We will only accept returns if you notify us within 14 days of receipt of your order.
  • Basically Black will not accept returned items outside the above time frame except for faulty items.
  • You will receive your refund as soon as we are in receipt of the returned goods.
  • Please note that postage costs for returned items are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.
  • We will email you to confirm your return has been processed.
If you receive an incorrect item
  • If you suspect that the item you received is not what you have ordered, please contact us at contact@basicallyblack.com or call our customer care team on 01858 439055 quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advice on how to proceed with the return.
