Payment
- Online: Our site is secure, quick and easy to use. Simply place your order and you will receive an order confirmation for your reference. The goods will be sent out within 24hrs where possible.
- Credit Card: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Solo and Switch. Payments are secure and processed by Sage Pay Online Payment system.
- Cheques should be made payable to 'Basically Black'. We will dispatch your goods once we have received and processed your cheque. Please write your address, order number and cheque guarantee card number on the reverse of your cheque. Items will be dispatched once your cheque is cleared. (This usually takes 5-7 working days)

What postal strikes?
We are very pleased to inform you that we will be using UK Mail Couriers
in conjunction with Royal Mail so that we can guarantee you safe delivery
of your order whatever happens with the strikes.
*Next day delivery for UK mainland. Orders must be placed before 12 noon, Monday-Friday, for the parcel to be delivered on the
following working day. Anything ordered on Friday afternoon, weekends, or Bank Holidays will be processed the following working day.

If you have been sent a complimentary discount code to use against your Basically Black order, simply key in
the code at the indicated area at the checkout and the discount will be applied to your order.
- Offers are only valid for the duration printed on the voucher.
- Discount excludes post and packaging costs unless otherwise stated.
- Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion and is not transferable.
- Returned items will be refunded at the discounted price paid.
- Statutory rights are not affected.
VAT
Prices on the website are shown as inclusive of UK VAT.
International Duties & Taxes
- We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card (see secure credit card information in our Privacy Policy) . We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Solo, American Express & Switch. All transactions are shown in £ sterling.
- All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 17.5%.
- If your order is being despatched to a destination outside the European Community (EC) then your sales tax will be zero.
- If your order is being sent to a member state of the EC then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate.
- Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.
- We ship to all countries outside of the EU on a DDU basis (Delivery Duty Unpaid). This means the recipient will be liable for any local sales taxes or import duties which may be charged on the purchase.
- We will seek confirmation from you in all cases prior to dispatching a DDU shipment to make sure you are aware of the DDU policy. Occasionally goods may be subject to delays, due to customs or weather.
- The customer is also responsible for providing any information required by customs to ensure the goods are cleared.

Some of our items are limited availability or very popular so we recommend you buy early to avoid disappointment. We will endeavour to get any out of
